i have been swimming about 4 or 5 days a week, for the last couple weeks - and yesterday (as you may have seen ) i swam 600 yds w/o stopping. the only reason i'm doing the distance and not just working on form is to get my confidence up for the sprint.
i have taken one lesson - this morning - and i haven't gotten a chance to practice what i learned (aside from at lesson ), i'll swim tommarow morning and try the techniques. i felt like i got quite a bit out of the lesson though.
my sprint is on july 29th, so 2 weeks. i have been working out a lot for the last 2 months - trying to get into shape. the swim is OWS - and is a 1/2 mile, or about 880 yds. i'm going to go out to the lake this week (if my roomate will come with ) and practice in open water - that should help
any tips?
