Subject: Trainer Skewer
Is it ok to ride on the skewer that was provided in with the trainer? I took my bike off the trainer and went for a ride and did not think about changing them out.

Yep - my bike tends to have the trainer skewer on her unless I'm racing. Never had any problems.

I looked at all my skewers carefully and couldn't seen any big difference. I've swapped the skewer from my trainer, MTN bike, road bike so many times, I'm not sure which I have on what now.....

I have been doing that since my LBS lost my original skewer. I have had no issues.

I don't think you will lose any either. I am pretty sure if you replaced the scewer in the top athletes their bike times would not change that much, but I could be wrong.  I replaced mine and never changed it back.
