Two Valuable Lessons in One Day

Lesson #1:  Three flat tires can happen on a ride.  Be prepared for it.  I wasn't.  Heck, I've never had two flats.  The fun one was a front-wheel flat at 45 mph on a descent.  I'm happy to have survived that one.

Lesson #2:  Always make sure that you are on good terms with the sag wagon driver before leaving on your ride.  Otherwise, it's a long walk back home.
