Subject: Niantic bay half mary/5k

Is anyone doing this race? ANy input on whether it's good or bad? They have both half marathon and 5k options. Registration goes up $5 after today.

Hey Tom,

The link doesn't work but I think this is the old Mystic Places Marathon/10 miler.  I have done the 10 miler 2 of the last 3 years.  If it is over the same roads, then it is a nice course.  The first time I did the race, it went off very smoothly.  Last year was a complete disaster as some of the early marathon starters got lossed (and were given no direction) and then they sent half of the 10 milers off on the wrong direction.

I believe this will be the first year for the race but it should be pretty good.

OK, the link should be correct now.

Yeah - it is hte old mystic places marathon/10-miler. I believe it covers most of hte same roads, but don't know for sure. 

I think I will sign up. Hope to see some others there also!!
