Hi all, looks to be a great site with lots of helpful information (this tri stuff is a bit more complicated than just running). I'm hoping that I can learn a lot from the more experienced members and in turn assist anyone who is less experienced than I....if that person exists.

First forray into this world is in 3 weeks, it's a sprint and I'm confidant, but hope to have these same feelings about 100 minutes after the start.

Welcome Paul, and super good luck in training and on your first tri!

Well ... as you know from comp ... you'll probably be so jazzed up even 100 minutes in it'll be a blast. The most important thing on the first one is to have fun, anyway.

You will feel even BETTER!  Then you'll be addicted.  And the "complicated" stuff will be what you live and breathe.  Accept your fate.    And welcome!

Welcome and good luck with your new endeavor! Remmeber to keep thinking positive and believe in yourself. I discovered that's half the battle. It's a great feeling to call yourself a triathlete
