yeah, they never have timing chips for this race.

Very casual race when it comes to stuff like mile markers (none); run course signs (few); and chips (none) - but an otherwise really pleasant race. Tough to beat the scenery and just generally a good vibe from the field and organizers.

Jelly - great going once again. Glad you're feeling (and racing) well! What a beautiful morning. Did you think this year's swim was a bit longer than last year? My time increased by 3+ mins (from a 12:30 to 16:00). Maybe just getting old...

Swim was definitely longer this year -by about 3 min

How much did the race cost? I refuse to believe they could not afford timing chips... ITS F'ing GREENWICH afterall!!!

The town charges an arm and leg for use of Tod's Point which is the reason Mickey said they can't afford timing chips.
