Subject: Linville Gorge area Cycling
I just returned from a week long climbing trip to Linville Gorge. Fortunately I had the fore thought to bring my road bike and in the evenings sampled some of the cycling routes around the Morganton and Linville Falls area.
I must say that you Western Carolina guys (At least the Morganton area) have some of the best cycling routes ( and climbing) on the East Coast! Great roads, awesome climbs, speedy descents, and beautiful views.
I didn't think you coulld get much better than the North Ga. Mountains (my home).

Can you post you routes? I'm more interested in the ones on the bike than the ones on the rock?

Incidentally, where did you climb (the ones on the rocK)? Notice any significant damage from the fires there early this summer?
