Forerunner 305 Quick Release Tri Bike Mounting

Since my arms rest on the pads just outside of the bar base and extend toward the center it leaves the perfect spot to see the computer in the aero position as well as when I am up in the bars. I had to buy a kit called the "Garmen Edge Mounting Bracket Kit". One caution though !!!! I also had an aero bottle mounted in between my aero bars and that is the side of the Garmen that the quick release is on. I was riding California 70.3 and hit a bump hard enough that the aero bar released the garmen and it went flying. Luckily is didnt hurt it but........ My solution was to ditch the aero bottle and ride with 3 water bottles and race at events with plenty of support. http://trisports.com/gaedmobr.html[/QUOTE]  Yeah, my 305 popped off during the MS150 and I did not even realize it when I hit some rumble strips.  Luckily someone noticed and told me so I went back and was able to find it.  Now if I see a large bump that I can't avoid I rest my arm across it.
