Subject: Half marathon questions
So my first half mary is coming up in 3 weeks. Im averaging about 9:15-9:30 min/mile. I wear a fuel belt and a very cushy shoe. Would invest in racing shoes and just take my gels (aid stations every 2 miles) possible get me in under 2 hours. So should I train heavy, race light or race like I train.

3 weeks isn't far away. I think it's too late to consider changing your shoes so leave well enough alone.

What's been your nutrition on your long runs? How much water, how many calories and how often?



I have been going 1.5- 2 miles for swallows of nuun and then every 3 miles for a gel.
