Rockwall Sprint - Bike Course Conditions

Anybody out in the Rockwall area riden the bike course recently?  How are the roads?  What is the scouting report?

The past two years there have been some really nasty grooves, dropoffs, and cracks on the easternmost part of the course that runs from north to south (which I believe is Hwy 66).  Ironhead has done a pretty good job of spray painting the danger spots in the past.  However, it would be nice if the dang road were just fixed properly.
