I had to go check!! You did say the WORLD SERIES. OK ok ok ok ok....Fine. Too easy an out! How about for every BoSox run scored in ALCS Game 7, AND they win, I donate $5 to your Timberman Fund? He he he he. Straighten up your crown and stand up like the righteous Red Sox Nation Queen that you are!

PLAY BALLLLLL

Collected funds may be deposited into my pink B Rally Cap in support of Witchy's two HIM's.

wow, high stakes here! LOL Let me make sure I have this right.....I need LOTSA runs and a win tonight and then we'll take on the WS. Got it. I couldn't root against the Sox if my life depended on it, so I had better start thinking about two HIMs

BTW, have I mentioned I have a presentation tomorrow and an exam on friday and I am not ready for either of them?? How am I supposed to get this stuff done with all this post-season baseball?? Off to PT, then pick up Matt when he calls. I may have to wait until AFTER the game to work on this presentation. OY

sorry Kev, I get on the bandwagon when the equipment truck heads to FLA in february.  I think if you look, and you don't have to look too hard,  you'll see that I started the thread by saying they SUCK!  Doesn't mean I'm not sitting here hanging on every pitch!

Have no fear, it isn't that most baseball fans are climbing on the Sox bandwagon as we are enjoying the torching of the Evil Empire. Besides, who in their right mind would think that the Yankees could come up with the greatest choke in the history of baseball?

Although, I admit, I feel almost as bad for the Yank fans now as I did for the Sox fans when it was 3-0. Okay, not really. I'm such a flawed person. :-(

12 more outs.

sorry, but I just cannot EVER feel sorry for the Yankees or their fans.  Every team has it's share of yahoos, so I don't feel sorry for any of them.

I heard an interesting stat today.  These 2 teams have played 51 times in the last four years.  26 - 25 Sox (not counting tonight)  275 - 271 runs, Sox.  Doesn't mean squat when they haven't won a pennant.

Just for the record on Oct 14 I posted to the ALCS chat thread that the Sox going down 3-0 was just the gods reminding us what it is like to suffer before sending us one more step forward to the promised land. Unfortunately Ellen asked me to stay of the drugs. Oh well. The band wagon is still firmly placed under my bike seat and will stay there until the sox win the World Series or they start playing golf for the off season.

GO SOX...BRING ON THE WORLD SERIES!!!

Oh yeah... GO PATS!!!!

OK, let me get this straight: you wouldn't take the $5/run contribution, and agree to 2 HIMs on the ALCS title? You could have run off with $50 ~ 35% off admission to the best summer event?

Instead, you're gonna take this all the way to the World Series?  LOL I can't figure out if you do have faith or dont!!!!

Gonna be a rough week starting Saturday: only Rest Days are Monday and Friday.

World Series or bust baby!!

Joe, surely you understand when I told you to lay off the drugs I was in self-preservation mode. It was easier to write them off then to set myself up for the heartache of losing game 7 like last year. I remember that all too well, how sick I felt at the end of the game and all the next day.

But this is a totally new feeling for Red Sox Nation, woohoo! Bring it on!

oh BTW, World Series tix are still available at Fenway.

the tix will be whatever the regular Fenway prices are, but the scalpers will have a field day.  Mike left too early to know they are even available.  I hope they show the phone # again cuz I'll try to get thru.

I want you to know Ellen that I kept my record spotless and did not watch the game.  Then again I was at work so that part was easy.  I do admit to doing a quick check of ESPN.com when I got home to find out what the final score was.  Hey I'm still up for a party...why don't you drag Mike & Matt & TAGP & Mr. TAGP up here and Patti and I will find another excuse to drag out the new barbecue and cook something up.  Then ya can watch the game on the big screen!

This transplanted Bostonian was proudly wearing his cherished Sox hat, right heah in Rochester, NY.

Now, we need to pray for the Astros to win tonight so the Sox can beat Roger in the WS.
