do more real bricks and practice running for speed, not distance.

not enough speed work and not enough bricks.

Event comments:

I think this was a wonderful first race. the swimming and running was just right for my skill level, and the biking was very very easy (yay for being used to Pittsburgh's hills). I'm very proud of my acheivements and my rankings.

Great job!  You might want to look at your times again - You entered in the "hours" section and it says it took you over 2 hours to go 100 yds swimming
