I think it might be kind of hard for her to get to Carolina.

ouch! good thing there's not going to be any parade in Carolina. They already had theirs last week. Silly people, you celebrate AFTER the win, not before the loss! (don't even get me going on the crazy "we won the wild card" celebration in Boston last fall)

Joe, yes, I am planning on going to the parade this time.....as long as it's not on a tuesday or thursday because I am in class all day. I really can't miss to attend a parade. Of course classes could always be cancelled!!

GO PATRIOTS!!

Dana,

Are you a Dodgers fan, or Angels fan?

ACK!! JR!!

Wrong part of California!! You should be asking, are you a Giants fan or an A's fan.

Good Lord, a Dodger's fan?? Get behind me, Satan!!

With that, I'm a life long Giants fan. I can easily cheer for the A's as long as their isn't a World Series championship in sight. But in general, I just love baseball... except the Dodgers, of course.

(o:

But of course, this is a football post. Sorry for the tangent, folks! (Go, commercials! Win, win, win!)

well thank you JR Just wait for baseball season! LOL I actually have spring training marked on my calender, the day the equipment truck leaves, the day pitchers and catchers report, the whole enchilada. I can't help it, it's a sickness It also means the end of ski season is near so I am not in as much of a hurry as usual. I just started skiing again last year after a 20 year hiatus, at my son's urging. As soon as I get my knee fixed up again we're on our way.

Dana, this thread has meandered every where! Nothing wrong with that since we're all a bunch of sports fans.

Hmm. Thanks for the reassurance! BTW, I clicked on your link to WebFit (as long as we are wandering everywhere!) because I was curious as to what it was. Aftere a bit of exploring, I decided to use it and find it very helpful... and distracting when all I want to do is get up and eat something!!

yeah, I hear ya on the food. I am trying so hard to curb my overeating. I didn't get this heavy by undereating, that's for sure. I like fitday because it's all there for me to see. I added the link to my sig to keep me honest. Just knowing that once in a while someone is going to click on it works for me. I can't come here and b*tch about my weight if you go and see that I've eaten a gallon of Ben & Jerry's this week. While it's kind of a pain to enter custom foods, I do it all the time and am glad once I have something entered. It's too bad they don't have a way for users to share custom foods.

Goooooooo Bengals!!!!! I'm holding my breath waiting for them to win. It's a new millenium!!

Marathon in a.m. Planning on vegetating in front of the game wtih my kids. I'm not much of a football fan, but after a marathon I am a lay-on-the-couch fan. Also love the commercials. Hope all food is bought today because I'm sure not going to go to the store after the race! I'll get my hubby to do it. What a guy!!

I've been a long time A's fan. The Bash-Bro days, and Eck closing it up, those were the days.

yeah, don't forget we had Eck first! he does color commentary for a local Sox broadcast. When I say color, I mean color! He brings so much to the broadcast and is a great addition.

He's wearing an A's cap in the Hall of Fame tho, isn't he? Made it in on the first ballot too.
