Hi All:

For those of you that are, or may be competing in the SOMA 1/2 IM or Quarterman in Tempe on October 31st, or in IM AZ next April here is a useful website on the conditions of the water in Tempe Town Lake.  It includes temp. and pH, among other quality factors.

http://www.tempe.gov/rio/Water/water.htm

Hope it is of assistance in making your plans, and GOOD LUCK!!!!

Tim

Okay, I know.  Replying to your own post is a little wierd, but I was just given another rule of thumb on the water temp. by a co-worker who lives in Tempe.

The general rule of thumb is: the water temp. is about 10 degrees warmer than the overnight low temperature during the cooler months of the year.  Right now we are averaging overnight lows in the 50s.
