I found myself wondering:  Who's been here on the BT.com website the longest?  (Creators of the website aside.)

I discovered the site this year -- so I'm a total newby -- but I'm sure there must be people who have been here, logging their training and making use of this great site for a long time.

Who are you?  And how has it helped you?

I was reading the post and got distracted by thinking "I hope she turns around ..."

In all seriousness, what has not been mentioned is why the folks stick around on BT after getting past the newbie stage.  While the reasons are numerous, the one that sticks out to me the most is that BT offers a chance to give back to the sport by helping those new to the sport the opportunity to ask questions ... and to receive answers without being flamed.

Then again, of course, there is the draw of your avatar.

I ain't me babe ... I joined around December 2003!  I did learn a lot of good tips for triathloning in those days.

P.S.  The deal was we have to keep the speedo avatars for the month of Sept.  So in 6 days, the bird is back...
