Atlanta: This Weekend (Oct. 29th)

Not really sure about the weekend. I just hope I survive this week at work. The board members are here and it's one meeting after another.

I know a couple guys are running the 1/2 marathon on the Silver Comet on Saturday.

Good luck at work. I know how you feel. My client is going through configuration on a new Performance Management system this week... I'm expecting a million calls tomorrow. I’m going to go to Stone Mtn. or another park on Sat and get a bike ride in. I hate working all week and not getting on the bike. I need a break from running.

I'm running the Silver Comet 1/2 Marathon. I hope I have enough left in me to take the kids out for Haloween that evening.

Also running the Silver Comet 1/2 this weekend. Hope I can make it back to the couch to watch college football.

Silver Comet Half Marathon, too.  I just hope I can run the whole thing.  I wonder how many entrants there are for this race.  The trail is kind of narrow.

I recieved an e-mail yesterday saying that 1050 people had pre-registered for the race.

That worries me for 2 reasons:  First, I'm not getting emails from the race and I wonder why.  Second, how are they going to start 1050 people on a trail that's no wider than a railroad trestle?
