Expert  615   Littleton, CO |  Subject: Out of the closet!I've been reading the posts here for a couple of months, "lurking" as Ron calls it  , so I feel like I'm out of the closet now that I have a name and this first posting! It took me two months to join because the regulars (veteran beginners?) are so much funnier than I am, it was a bit intimidating. More seriously, I'm amazed by the quality of the site and the people it's attracted. I've already taken a ton of great advice and I'm looking forward to being able to participate. As for races, I'm considering joining Team in Training in February and racing the Spring Chill that so many other BTers do. Whether or not with TiT, I'll be at the Spring Chill. The A Race I've picked is the Buffalo Springs Half IM in June. It's far enough away (on the calendar) that I can still imagine myself qualifying for Kona '05 :-O I'm sure that I'll be thrilled to just to finish when June arrives. |

A lot of us did open water swimming down at Chatfield Reservoir during the summer - you'll have to join us next season! A bunch of us met up at the Fall Chill, and I'm sure we'll have more get togethers next season. Anyhow, glad to have another Coloradoan on board! |
