"..." Umm. I don't know.

As an added enticement to go to the Trot...I'm willing to give a FREE a lecture (with a Q&A session) on swimming and stroke technique! ;-)

God knows Gary needs all the help he can get in the pool! :-O

stroke technique......hmmmm.  I'm a girl, do I need that?  No, I could use that more than all you put together.  I'm what they call a sinker.  very new to the whole swimming thing, can do it to save my life, but not much more than that.  this triathlon thing should be interesting.  I have, however, hired a swim coach, so maybe that will help.

Such *dirty* minds.

Speaking of which. C'mon people! I'm passing up a 5K on MY campus along with the chance to run with a competitive swimmer/ tri lady I'm seriously pining over.

(Note to self: What the Hell was I thinking?! Next time choose the Chick over the BT'ers! )

Fine Print: Of course I understand everyone has families and responsiblities and if you can't come...well I understand that. I'm just venting, is all.

Damn. I walked into that one. I've considered it. If it were only so easy.

Basically what it boils down to is I'm not ready to announce my intentions yet. If I asked her - and given the current circumstances between her and I regarding the WMU Trot - she'd know something was up.

OK! I, Charles, will take the responsibility of making the reservations for this sunday. I just need an estimated number of people and time, say 1230pm?

And thanks for the offer Greg, but something just came up in school today and I will be totally tied up for the whole of sunday morning and afternoon. So I can't watch the race OR have lunch....

Kinda irritated, I really wanted to see you guys...and I want to go to Zingerman's!! =/ All the bad luck coming together..

ANYWAYS, I will still do the reservations, so just let me know. =)

fromer, you dog you.

After your swimming seminar, perhaps someone there could give fromer a seminar in "announcing intentions." Makes me want to go to AA just to jab my elbow into your side and say "Hey, what are you waiting for?"

Who knew this Turkey Trot would have such drama?

Signed, a fellow scare-d-cat.

Charles, I don't think it will be necessary to make a reservation.  We should be able to just go in after and sit down, if there are people out there who just want to meet for lunch, make sure and let us know so we can look for you.

I think a little intimidation might work, what do you think?

ARE YOU CHICKEN, GARY?  HUH? I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER ALL THE CLUCKING.

Maybe now he'll come.

OK, the intimidation worked. I'm IN - or at least 99.9% sure I'm in. I was planning on doing a long run tomorrow, guess I'll have to work it in today.

5-K all the way????

See y'all (both of ya, lol) Sunday morning!!!!

While only 3 of us are going...I think this attempt to gather was still successful as we've all had a chance to "talk" with other local BT'ers.

I'll take you up on that coffee at some point this winter, too, Jody (my sister lives in Redford).

Maybe we can all gather for a Spring run somewhere before tri season starts? If not, I'll see you on the circuit! You'll definitely be seeing Trixie - crazy girl wants to do SIX tri's! And I thought me doing 4 last year was excessive...

Incidentally, Lara has already RSVP'ed for next years Turkey Trot! So she says...

This 31 year-old can already recite the "seminar talk" on command!

Jody, I'll try to come by sometime in mid December after the semester ends...
