I got the Idea from Odogg, so here goes:
When doing your swim workout, don't use the kick board and the pull bouy at the same time

That would be great for core body rotation practice. You won't go anywhere quickly, but you never know...
Wait! Are you resting your face on the kickboard and using your hands to swim? :P
