did any one else get to catch this. It was on at 5 today. I did not know it was on until 5 minutes before so could not tell you guys. Xterra Tri's are pretty cool with the mountain biking and trailrunning. I have to master the pavement first.

I sure did!! Today was my rest day so watching it made me feel like a slug! I thought it was inspirational. Even watching the 64 yr old master it was amazing.

I did!! Purely by accident! I was so excited. I too missed the first 5 or 10 minutes. But I taped the rest for my training buddies.'

It was so funny--despite flat tires, road (trail?) rash injuries, and people fainting or falling or vomiting at the finish line, I was thinking "I wanna do that!!" Started to think therapy might be in order!!

What a thrill! As sappy as it might sound those closing shots of regular joes and janes crossing the finish line actually made me feel a little tear-y!

I thought that it was cool that they showed the Lifeguard that died (literally) 4 times after the skiing accident. He was the only one smiling through the entire thing.
