Hey--being a clyde has got to be worth something.  I qualified in the top 15 for Set Up events Invitational this weekend (10/20).  The top 10 to 15 (depending on age group and series) are being invited for each category from their NC, SC, VA, and Endurance series.  Not too bad for my first full season.  This will be triathlon #10 for me since July 06.

Good on you!

I just missed qualifying...I finished 11th in my AG series, and the VA series only sends top 10.

It's the story of my season, being so close, but not quite there. I have 2 4th place finishes in the 4 races I did.

If I had only done one more race, I'd have made it.

Congrats - that's cool...I didn't know they did that. (I just checked...I'm #18 in the VA series/Athena - maybe sometime down the road...)

That was a tough race...BUT.....3rd Clyde and more importantly, I took something like 13 minutes off my previous best Olympic...and this bike was almost 2 miles longer than that one.  Overall, a pretty good day!
