Welcome aboard.  Running is also my demon but only because I  got old and slow.  Anyone can run.  If you want to run faster then you have to train faster.  Once a week, do fartleks, intervals, get on a track and just go as fast as you can.  Hey! you may never run a sub 10 second 100 meter but you will gain some speed.

Invading from the north... on bicycles.... don't get worried until you see the cervelo logo appear on our flag

I am beat. Did my first spin class today, my good "friend" who is an accomplished rider signed me up for it, turned out to be an advanced class....1.5 hrs.... had a nice nap this afternoon - I am wiped.

I will have lots of swim questions as I start my classes this winter....

There is a winter tri here in Ottawa I might try... 50 km x country ski - 25 km skate (on the largest skating rink in the world - the ottawa canal) and then ( I think) a 5 km run.... dream a little dream.

Thanks again!

Best Value in its class, in my humble opinion.... if they would just lose the propietary brake calipers, it would be even better....I find it a strange spot to save a few production dollars when they are SO great elsewhere....

Jeremy, I just noticed that you are also from Ottawa.  What part of the city do you hail from?  Where are you looking to get your Cervélo, Cycle Logic?  The Dual is probably the best tri bike in its class/price range. Eventually, I will either get the Dual or the P2K.

Hi Jeremy, as yet ANOTHER  fellow Canadian AND an ex-Ottawaian (if there is such a word!) I had to chime in and say welcome as well!  You guys have some great cycling and running trails, especially the Trans Canada Trail out around Stittsville - some of my favourite rides/runs this past summer were out there.

Good luck with your sprint and oly plans this summer - there are some of us planning to get together for a triathlon out near you next summer as well - it would be great if you could join us!!

Laerka, Laerka, Laerka!  That's Ottaweiners ... er, I mean Ottawans!  You hail originally from Stittsville; would that not make you an ex-Stittsvillian?

Michel, you are never truely an "ex-Stittsvilllian". Once you've lived there, that little town just beyond the fringe marks you for life

I am planning on purchasing from Cycle Logik here in Ottawa. I have never come across service like I have had in this store.... amazing.

As for a get together, I am open to anything if schedule and body comply.

Hello to fellow canucks from Montreal etc.

Has anyone done a loop in Gatineau Park - up to the Champlaign lookout? This is my most recent accomplishment (which almost killed me!)
