Go to User Listing page.  Sort by posts, for example.  Select "Go to page 2" from the bottom drop-down on the page.  Page 2 comes up, but the sort order is gone.  At least in Firefox.  The only way to see page 2 sorted by post, is to manually massage the URL in the Location bar.

We're aware of that, but honestly I don't see it being corrected any time soon.

That's an issue with the BBS system that BT is based on and we have so much custom code that upgrading the BBS software is an absolutely enormous undertaking. If we're going to invest  hundreds or even thousands of dollars as well as the time to create, test and implement a feature, we have to look at the priority list and see where it falls. Correcting the BBS user list sorting just doesn't make the cut compared to things like device uploading, improving the race reports, adding more social features etc.

Do you mind if I quote, roughly, your post, the next time a QA person comes to me with a not-so-critical issue?

Although, the BBS vendor ought to be able to handle it.  I mean, it's just a query string missing.  Oh well.

What we really have to do is hire Mike early next year!

Just imagine what we can do with with a full-time programmer (Mike) on top of our current part time programmer!  It will truly be awesome.

Yeah, what he said.

I'm in "my to-do list is killing my to-doer" mode at the moment.

Too bad you guys aren't using JSPs.  I'd help for cheap.  I love this site.

You may be able to sort this way.  First, select the page number you want (Jump to page at the bottom of the window).  Then select the sort you want by selecting the button at the top of the column.  You can get either ascending or descending order by hitting the column button again.

For example, you can jump to page  50, then you get the 50th page of the alphabetical list (default).  Then you can get the 50th page of the list sorted by number of posts by using the buttons at the top of the column.  You can then get the 50th page for Date Registered by clicking that column.

It ain't broke.  It's a feature.
