Subject: How do I pick a frame size?
How do I know what size frame buy? Do I pick based on my height and weight? Please help.

The best bet would be to go to you local bike shop and get fitted properly for a bike.

The local bike shop route is your best bet. Make sure that you are dealing with a reputable fitter. Beware the glib sales person trying to palm off a bike that is too big or too small for you simply because he want to "get rid of it". Try www.wrenchscience.com and you will get a good estimation of the size bike you need provided your physiology is well within the "norm". The wrench science sizing system is not perfect. I tried it and was advised to buy a 56 when I know that a 58 with an extended stem is perfect for me because I have a long torso.

i would have to say bike shop as well...its the only way to be 100% sure of a proper fit
