Member 391   Wenonah, NJ |  Subject: Black Bear Triathlon course videoFor those doing the Black Bear Half or Sprint (or interested in doing it), we've just posted a course preview video (hosted here on BT). Let me know what you think (other than the fact that Steven Speilberg has nothing to worry about given my very mediocre video editing skills). (BTW- I think it's 'ecstasy', if you are able to edit that.) Good catch!! When I first put it together I showed it to my wife and she pointed it out. I decided to leave it that way to see who noticed...you're the first as far as I know. I used to work for Coors and once in a while they would roll something out with improper spelling (i.e. Coors Artic Ice Beer rather than Coors Arctic Ice) just to see how many people noticed. |

As usual I entered the marathon and ran a good HALF marathon. Still, I thought it was a great day...the crowd was good, I liked the course (yes, even taking it up Lemon Hill), the weather held out until after the race before raining and, most importantly, no one broke into my car. Started searching for another marathon this morning...Gasparilla in Tampa looks tempting. |
