My plan is to cab it from hotel and back. The grown ups will probably be up WAY past Zach's bedtime.

This is probably true, I guess I need to find out whether I'll be stuck upstairs watching movies or if I'll get to site at the grown up table....

That's freaken funny!!

Woz....I am sure someone like Zach could pic you up on the way to the party, and drop you off.  Do we even have cabs in Gilbert? haha!!  Just don't want it to cost you an arm and a leg!!

Oh, and Aaron has suggested a fun game to play at the party. "Pin the Maple Leaf on the Canadian."  Just think of Adam and his fig leaf....it's along that line. Hahaha!!

Sorry to get off of this enthralling topic, but I just noticed that this is the same day as that 300K brevet in Casa Grande. I'm thinking we do the Brevet, then drop by Tanya's to eat them out of house and home

Let's see, it's a 45min drive to Casa Grande. The party starts at 5, so we need to have the bikes packed by 4:15. 15 minutes to load bikes is 4. 190 miles in 11 hours is 17.27mph. That's doable if no formal attire is needed.

I can show up in bike gear with bugs in my teeth right?

Do you mean BALD?

I would prefer the term "bare" but hey women do it so why not men? Brazillian anyone?

OK Harry as for the Brevet...hrmmm. I think it would be DAMN COOL! But I have a special dress for this party. I guess it depends on how much I fall in love with my bike first. Do you seriously think that is even possible though? A 300K? For little ol me? Not so sure....

Well I'm stoked about this party and have noooo desire to have a 180 mile torture ride get in the way.

Just know that if you go to this thing Harry, we'll be locking the door and won't let you in until after we've all eaten.  We know the way you eat, and after a 180 mile ride, nothing will be left after you scarf it all up.

As host of this party....I feel I must lay down some rules....  No sweaty bike attire. And correspondlingly....no sweaty, stinkiness either.  Oh...and bug in the teeth are icky.  AND I must agree with Chris.  We all must eat FIRST and then let Harry in (if he does this bike race) and THEN he can rape and pillage the buffet table.  I actually was hoping Harry was going to wear a special dress too, so that will just ruin my holiday if he does not.

Harry showed Aaron and I his family's "Coat of Arms" last night.  If you could work that in to your attire at the party Harry, it would really make everyone's night.

I have to say that it is pretty amazing...and fitting.

...there are ALWAYS man junk posts!

Bring whatever you would like!  I just said an appetizer type food so it would be easy to stand around and eat, and then your favorite sweet holiday treat because I am a sugar fiend! :-)  I know myself I will be fixing shrimp, artichoke dip, a Brie in philo dough, and veggie cheese spread with crackers, so with me alone there might be enough "real" food.  Oh, and Chris needs to bring something he is required to purchase, so I was thinking of talking him into a big ol bucket of hot wings!   OH and in NO way does ANYONE need to bring as much crap as I am fixing...I just have over achiever issues when it comes to party food.....so this is not meant to be an example of what I expect from others!

OH!! And if your significant other wants to participate in the white elephant, make sure to bring 2 gifts.  But if not, that's cool too.  If BOTH of you do it that's double the crap you have to take home with you! :-)

Ok, I've looked ALL over my house.  I just can't find anything I'm willing to part with. Tacky is my style, and it fits me so well.

Can I bring a dog?  They have no taste at all.
