I'd bet money the evolution of this was some fool wanted the free ten bucks, so he made up some fake name and a fake SS#. The employee behind the desk was too lazy to ask for a driver's license or the guy claimed to not have one, so they ran the app anyway. Amazingly, the guy gets a credit card and hence the "free money" begins.
considering I loathe Sears, which owns K-Mart, it makes my heart warm to see this kind of good stuff happen to bad companies... |
