I always like these type challenges,  but I will be danged if I can think if a goal. 

Pushups 2x 30 - 3 days

Crunches 2x50 - 3 days

BT Core - 3 a week

Sounds reasonable for now.

Ooh. I like (and need) this one very much.

I will do 10 pushups/day...working up to 25 (10/15/20/25) - however many sets it takes me to get to that number.

I will do 100 crunches/day...working up to 250 (100/150/200/250) - except for the 2 days a week that I will do a full-on core work out (I like the Around the World one too).

My current reps of the Around the World are 10...and I'll just keep it at that for now.

PUSH UPS- 3x25 5 days/wk. increase by 5 reps each wk

CRUNCHES & 1 ADDITIONAL CORE EXERCISE- 3x25 each exercise 5 days/wk. increase 1 set each wk

Pushups -
  1st week - 20 pushups, 2 x a day, 4 days a week.
  by 4th week - 50 pushups, 2 x a day, 5 days a week

Situps - 
  1st week - 20 situps, 2 x a day, 4 days a week
  by 4th week - 100 situps, 2 x a day, 5 days a week

Me too!  This will be a good motivator to keep up the core work that I have been struggling to do now that I have been booted for my achilles issue.  It gives me something else to think about!

10 real pushups x2 every other day
20 crunches x2 every other day
add other exercise ball with free weights work on the opposite days
I will work to add 2-4 reps per set each week, more if I can.

Hooray, the more the merrier! I am so glad we have so many people in the challenge! Now I just need to get in the habit of doing pushups and crunches as soon as I get out of bed in the morning!

Daily:

20 pushups X 3 -increase by 5 each week

Around the World Abs - 15 of each daily, increase by 5 each week

Gonna try to get my husband to join me.

push-ups: 20 (two times a day, three times per week) increase by three per week...I'll try and do that knee-to-walrus thing KathyG suggested.

crunches:  50 (two times a day, three times a week).  Increase by five per week.

Hard Core/Around the World three times per week.

Hey ...I am in on this as well.

Pushups: 3x per week, 3 times per day 2x10 pushups. Add 1 set of 10 each week.

Situps: 3x per week, 3 times per day 3x30 situps. Add 1 set of 30 each week.


I should have time to fit this in with everything else going on right now.

I've been hanging around the sidelines for FAR too long. Deal me in too, for my first BT challenge.

Let's start with:

3x20 PU, 5x/week. 
3x20 Crunches, 5x/week to keep it simple, with the 5 rep weekly increment, as well as the ABS Diet  abs routine twicexweek. Hopefully that'll knock some of the eggnog off my guts.

I'll get in on this, I'm pretty sure it will get started when my Battalion Commander has me give him a few pushups for missing this weeks training meeting.

I'll do 2000 pushups and 2000 Sit-ups in December. And I have to do at least 2 sets of 50 pushups at least 4 days a week. That obviously won't be enough to complete the goal but it should make tghe workouts more consistent. I'll re-evaluate on my birthday (the 19th) to see if I can add more.

I'm doing 2 sets of 8 regular ones now....

I'd like to get up to 40 regular a day in 2-4 sets by end of the month.

I'll do push ups and abs every other day or there abouts for 15 days, and see how I progress...after I do all the regular ones, I'll do knee and walrus ones which  should be about 100 or more a session.

Crunches haven't been doing them so I'll start at 50 and add 10 per week or more. Plus I'm  doing a circuit with different plank positions.

Count me in.

One set per hour spaced throughout the day.

I will do 10 pushups X 10 sets on odd days for the first 10 days (100 every other day)

15 pushups X 10 sets on odd days for the second 10 days (150)

20 pushups X 10 sets on odd days for the last 10 days (200)

 Crunches:  One set per hour spaced throughout the day.

10 sets x 10 crunches first 10 days on even days

10 sets of 15 crunches 2nd 10 days of even days

10 sets of 20 crunches last 10 days of even days.

Ooo, I so need this challenge as well. Here are my goals:

Three core workouts per week (including one Around the World).
Push-ups: 5 Push-ups followed by cobra pushups to muscle failure 3 times a day for five days each week increasing by five each week.
Sit-ups: 20 sit-ups 3 times a day for five days each week increasing by five each week.

I'm in for this one. 

I'll start with pushups 2x10 3x per week. I've got a bum shoulder and will start slow and see how it holds up the first week, then I'm hoping to adjust my goal upwards for the subsequent weeks.

Various crunches 200 3x week increasing by 50 each week
3x200 - 12/1-12/9
3x250 - 12/10-12/16
3x300 - 12/17-12/23
3x350 - 12/24-12/31

i know it's the first already, but i'm in on this too.
i'll commit to 50 crunches 2x a day for week one, and increase from there.
pushups, LOL oh, it's too funny. ok. i think i might be able to do 5 properly with good form right now, so that's where i'll start for week one on that.

good to see some familiar faces on here! i'm not doing the swim challenge, so this will at least keep me from totally slacking off this month.

hopefully im not late but id love in on this. it will give me a reason to do them. this will be my 1st time on any of the challenges.
week 1: pushups 50x3. situps 50x3. 5 days a week for me.

im gonna shoot for the last week to be 100 of each. ill keep my progress on my logs.
