Subject: Garmin 301 and HR data
I have the Garmin 301 with the HR monitor.  Whenever I do a run I get funky data for what my HR high should be - the number is nearly always higher than 210.  No way my HR gets that high!!  Have other folks had this problem?!

Have you changed the battery recently? I got some crazy numbers on my old HR, changed the battery and it was much better.

I actually took the Garmin and HR strap back to REI yesterday and they did replace the strap battery.  I ran today and didn't get any funky numbers.
