Subject: Power based training plans
Any suggestions on reasonably priced (or free?) power based training plans for the bike?  I did my FTP test this AM and now am looking where to go.  I understand I should be looking at working the FTP vs worrying about any of the other intervals for tris?

Working with a power meter doesn't mean you ignore intervals other than FTP, it just means you have better feedback about what intensity you are training. While Freil talks about HR zones 1-4, 5a, 5b and 5c, the power gurus talk about power levels 1-7...which align very close with the HR zones.

Have you checked out training peaks? Hunter Allen has a number of plans for sale inaddition to their being some online resourcs to learn about power training.

There is also a book called training and racing with a power meter that you might want to pick up if you havn't already
