Hi Everyone,
Its really not white, yet. Southern Ontario is actually quite nice right now. I just want to say hi, and say thank you for this wonderful site. I have yet to race in a tri, but the warm fuzzy feeling I get from reading the articles and forums is amazing! I'm working on building my base up over the winter and then bearing down 12 weeks out. I've signed up the May 21 triathlon in Ottawa, so if there are other BTer's out there attending, we could get together and cheer each other on!!

Welcome! I won't be doing th e Ottawa race, but I do have the Welland (July 2) and Brockville (August 21) races on my calendar for 2005. Maybe I'll see you there. Good luck and welcome to the sanitarium!

Hey Rob, I will be doing the Early Bird Sprint Tri at Carleton on May 21.  It was my first triathlon and is a nice one to start off the season.  The swim portion is held in the olympic pool on campus; the rivers and lakes in the area would be a tad too cold to swim in at that time.  You'll recognize me there no problem; I'm the tall good lookin' fellow in the mackinaw tri outfit!  :-)  Roo-coo-coo, roo, coo, coo-coo!  Welcome to the Great White North, eh!

Wow, I just left Kingston, had I known about all you folks in the area I may have tempered my decision to move to the coast. I am suprised at the number of Canucks on this site, indeed the True North is strong or at least tri'ing to be.
