June 22 in Opelousas.

Nice little triathlon, especially for beginners and those who like short pool swims. Anyone else in?

I haven't signed up yet, but I'm in. I've been looking at this triathlon for my debut mainly because of the short swim. I'll be signing up soon!

I’m officially in! I signed up today, and I’m excited. I did the Pressman Rookie Triathlon last year, so this is technically my second triathlon, but it feels like my first. I think I fairly estimated my swim time, but as soon as I submitted it I had second thoughts. I’ll be hitting the pool extra hard just to make sure..

I really enjoyed the race! The swim was over quick, but the bike leg got me a bit. I would definitely consider doing this again next year.

I'll be sure to get a race report up soon.
