Subject: What's the most mileage you've RACED in 1 year?

This year will be my most. 118.5 miles (ish) of triathlon racing so far, with about 242.9 left to go, for a total of 361.4 miles. I'v also done a 10K and a 1/2 may, so another 19, with a 5 mile turkey day trot and another 1/2 mary at least, so another 18 for a total of 37.

So 398.4 total this year, if I do all the planned races.

What's your single year record?

In 2007 I raced 581.5 miles:

50 mile Ultra
IM WI
2  HIM
2  sprint tris
2  Olys
2 duathlons
1 Half marathon
1  10k
1  25K trail run
2  50k x-c ski marathons

This year will be my most by far, but still nothing close to some of the complete nutcases hardcore endurance athletes here.

Should wind up around 290-300 miles, depending on whether I do a couple of late season events or not.

I do not have statistics for 2007 but I give you mine for 2008 up to today:

21 races so far

1x HIM

2x Oly

18x running races for a total of  161miles run

I should end up at around 40 at the end of 2008 with one more HIM and one IM plus 2x olys.

Last year was my first year of triathlons, so I guess last year was the most I have ever raced. I did:
3 triathlons (1 super-sprint, 2 sprints)
2 5Ks
A couple organized bike rides (usally around 10-12 miles)
Countless swim meets
