I mean this is vague but I'm curious and who better to ask than the people on BT, you guys know more stuff than i could imagine. I mean just how could he dominate the sport so much during his reign on Le Tour...

The whole "lance on drugs" thing has been debated, within the past couple of days in fact, in the TdF forums, ad nauseum, as well as other times here... I hope it doesn't start again...

Never got sick?  Yeah I guess, except for that pesky little cancer thing.

If you want to weigh in on this, like was mentioned, go to the TdF Forum -- we have three pages already dedicated to this issue.

He also didn't destroy the field before his pesky cancer thing, though he was still very good. Really that's what made him strong. He never got sick during his 7 TDF wins, which I assume is what the poster is talking about.

Plus the fact that anyone that ever placed near him has basically been caught for doping now.

I think more than touchy most people are passionate about their stance on the issue. With that passion comes very strong opinions that will not be changed short of Lance's old B samples all coming back positive for something other than "A$$ Kicking Juice".

I have my opinions, respect those of people who disagree, but come to me with something other than rumor and innuedo and I may listen. Well, something solid that does not come from a French testing lab...

Seriously, there are a ton of flaws in those results. If they took you to court on the same results, the judge would laugh them all the way to the street because of evidenciary rules.

Just another case of you interpret the results like you want, and I do the same.

Beltran, Herras, Andreu, Hamilton, Landis, Basso .......... Need I go on???

(Since they were all teammates of his - Basso was recruited to the team by LA - that have either admitted doping, been busted for it and/or testified under oath that LA doped).

x2 I rooted for Lance, as well as Barry Bonds, until it became all too obvious what was going on. Negative test results only prove that the cheaters were ahead of the game. But it's hard to let go of our favorites (well, not so hard with Barry Bonds).

What a lot of people don't realize is that he was a World Champion before he got cancer.

Once he started chemo, he basically broke his body down to its most basic elements, but that muscle memory was still there.

After he recovered, he got to build his body almost from scratch, but with World Championship Cyclist muscle memory already there.

Who wouldn't do well with that sort of opportunity? The right sponsors, good coaches, and he was unbeatable. If only I had that chance...

Look at LA's TdF body both pre-cancer and post cancer.

Pre-cancer, LA was thick, solid, with a triathlete almost clyde type body. He was SOLID!!!

Post-cancer, lance was not as thick, still solid, but in a different way. He rebuilt his body post cancer. Plus, his Vo2 max is insane AND his cadence and gearing are psychotic. How many of you all remember the video of him, still being treated for his cancer, bald and sitting on his bike on the trainer dripping with sweat. That is a driven man.

A. He was good.
B. He had a killer team
C. He played his Cards right and never got sick.
D. His body reacted well to drugs.

I read that as reacting well to chemo drugs. I am so naive...
