Imagine, ME being the one promoting etiquette and tact!

First of all, "politically correct" is a phrase, two words, not one. Second, no one said anything about being politically correct, just being polite, tactful, not prying into the business of others. As someone previously mentioned, there are other ways of finding out besides asking pointblank.

However, it is a community/society that decides what is polite and acceptable and this topic seems to be open for business.

So martam, how much money do you earn? Do you cheat on your taxes? How often do you beat your wife/husband/life partner?

;-)

How much duct tape do each of you use to keep the boys in place? I think that is a more important question.

That's a personal preference Jameson. Of course, some of us take more than others...

Unless the pocketbook is a more sensitive spot than the boys or the fun bags????

From personal experience (and you chicks may disagree), I can't think of a more sensitive spot than "the boys."

Seriously. I mean, a direct shot to the bag can knock a man unconscious. Now that's sensitive...

"Just" a Specialized Allez, you say!  Hey, it's not "just" anythings, it's a good bike.  Next time you listen to the coverage of the Tour de France, listen to the fans shouting as the cyclists ride by ... they are yelling "Allez ... Allez..."!  It's quite the popular bike ... oui!

Hey, great stuff!

My wife and I just got a pair of those bikes as well.  She got the 2004 and I got the 2005...No, it doesn't mean anything except that they did not have a 2004 in my size...   So far I love it.  ALthough there was a killer hill today that made me wish I had a triple in the front ... I just need to get stronger and stop whining!

Man you guys really kill me.

The bike was $569. I paid full price. They didn't give me any discount and NO freebies.

I did a 26 mile ride this morning on it for the first time and it was great. A little harsh...I'm used to my OLD ALLEZ ELITE CARBON FIBER bike.

So far the bike looks to be a solid bike. The only issue I had were the water bottle eyelets being stripped and turning while I was unscrewing the screws.

I probably won't upgrade it since there are so many areas in which it would need upgrading....I'm just going to save for my Cevelo.
