Snot that pretty

 Disclaimer: I am not a physician or pharmacist and have not used them first hand for this purpose, but...

some people use OTC oral antihistamines and nasal sprays for just such a dilema when training.

Okay... I've seen these things but have never been able to bring myself to use one.  How do you keep yourself from "nasal gagging"?

Breathe through your mouth (which also prevents water from falling down your throat)! Most of the people I know who were totally sketched out by it found it pretty intuitive after the first few times, and now enjoy watching the snot fall out of their noses. 

I too exhale under water out of my nose, to only come up with a stream on my face =/ I somteims breathe extra hard in the water but that is kind of grose for the other swimmers.

Have to love U-Tube! I love how nonchalant she is about the whole deal, I am not sure if I could do that without laughing, but I may just have to give it a try.

Duh@#!  I never thought of using my allergy nose spray!  I've been using my bike gloves instead.  This will be a lot cleaner.

My friends & family will definitely appreciate not having to see me wiping snot off my face!
