2 times up the incline at Pikes Peak (2000 ft gain in 1 mile) and easy run down the Barr Trail for a total of 9 miles. 2000K swim

24 miles! wow... awesome!

I ran an easy 5 miles today. I was supposed to run 6 but I negotiated 1 mile to run with my best friend... I can see now my training is paying off, it seems that none of my friends can catch up on So I compromised, we had a lot of gossip to catch up on

Will run a 5k to get a 'base' time for measuring improvement, then an hour+ on the trainer (still too cold over here!) Swam 1500 yesterday - my furthest so far - too bad I still have to stop and rest a bit after every lap :-(
