just my 2 cents on the tatoe subject:

I think I will get a tri tatoe of some kind in the future.  maybe after 100 events or some other major feet within the sport.  something that identifies with all 3 sports, it would be clean, plain & simple, black ink only, probably on one of my shoulders or back.

Just my opinion, I would only get an M dot if I qualified for Kona and finished.  Nothing against those that get them for finishing other ironman events...

I agree 100%.

I'm not as "pure" as you may think.

Someone called me a cheater for using a Garmin 305 once.  I was like, I understand your point of view, I just disagree with it.

that's way its great to be an American!

PS, your tat is very cool!!!

Sorry.  feat.

Do you search out homophones on forums or just search for pictures to point them out?

Either way, its a waist of time.  Now go hit up google  for a picture of someones mid section.

I don't really understand what you're saying here, but I think "homophones" is not appropriate for this website.

Uuummmm... waste of time.

SORRY! HAD TO DO IT.

I'll leave now.

A homophone is a word that is pronounced the same as another word but differs in meaning. The words may be spelled the same, such as rose (flower) and rose (past tense of "rise"), or differently, such as carat, caret, and carrot, or to, two and too. A homophone is a type of homonym, although sometimes homonym is used to refer only to homophones that have the same spelling but different meanings. The term may also be used to apply to units shorter than words, such as letters or groups of letters that are pronounced the same as another letter or group of letters.

Thanks, I'll have to take a new pic since it has healed.  There are 3 holes on each side of the horseshoe that we left room to make them black m-dots for future IM finishes.

Loved IMKY, you can read alot about it in the Ironman forum.

bryancd - 2008-11-25 5:49 PM SWEET!!!! The bi-monthly tattoo thread!!!!!

I just don't understand posts like this.  I really like the mostly welcoming and patient with newbie questions this board offers (I think it mirrors the attitude and experiences I've had with other athletes at races) and would hate to see that go away.

I did a search, as suggested, and found that there are quite a few threads about tattoos, but there are quite a few different pics in each thread.  The OP asked to see some ink, and I think some new ink was shown that was not in the other threads.

It's called a joke Chris, relax. There are more than a few threads on this topic. The majority of the responses have been also of a good ribbing nature.

I actually don't know how to use that...and why aren't you yelling at Bear or KSH or Gary for the other joke posts? This isn't about some OTHER topic is it?
