As I am only a bronze member, I cannot import any of the plans from this website if I am reading this correctly.

How do I import from somewhere else?

Thank you.

heres a breakdown of what levels get what:

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/cms/article-detail.asp?articleid=250

and

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/cms/article-detail.asp?articleid=416

and

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/cms/article-detail.asp?articleid=376

so bronzes can easily create a plan they get from other sources for their personal re-use anytime as its part of your plan database now.  this way its a lot easier than creating a plan through the 'planned training' logging interface.  whenever you want to use it you just import it by selcecting a starting date.

silvers can import the plans that we offer for free here...most have just the minutes per workout (beginners), the 1/2IM has workout specifics.

golds have access to the intermediate plans with full workout descriptions.

if you found an error, let me know...i'll bump ya up.

sorry...i overly complicated that.

you did it right...i think your just confusing the two blog veiws 'actual' and 'planned.  your planned blog will have the minicalendar too...BUT the top row of links will all say 'planned' and each day will say 'edit todays planned training'...likewise if you log through calendar, it has header bar of 'planned training'.

to switch back to 'actual blog' you must go back to the top 'blog link' and click on the 'actual' hover link.

you next 3 days of planned training also shows in the left column of your actual blog under you picture...under the header 'planned training' - this only shows up in your actual blog for reminders...yours shows the 8, 9 and 10 for planned training.

i DID put in days 9 and 10 for plannned training to test this so you can see...you can erase it though.  i didnt seem to have problems going back to 'actual' training...

let me know if this makes sense..maybe i have to make more of a distinction.

it just isn't working for me. can you just delete the planned ones and I'll just simply report my actual training.

thank you.

well, you may have discovered something...keep me posted if this is a repeater.  if it does happen again, describe all the clicks you made, i'll try to replicate and we can fix the possible problem.

I am new to the site and I am planning on competing in a Sprint triathlon with a little bit longer swim of 1/2 mile in June, I was in pretty good shape but I just returned from Iraq so I kind of feel I am starting from scratch again. All I want to do is write up a plan that I can print out and put in a small book to carry with me then be able to mark what I have done, since I may or may not be able to get to a computer every day. If I upgrade my membership will the Training log work for me in this goal? If it does how do I set it up?

Subject: RE: TRAINING PLANS

you can get the print versions of any of the beginner sprint plans from the main site...you really dont need anything past the free log...one thing the payed log features offer is 'importing' these plans into the 'planned training' part of the log...so you can get reminders, your next 3 days of training, and you can do all the graphs and reports on the planned training.  BUT it sounds as if you dont need that stuff.

so go here to any of the beginner sprints and just print them out: http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/cms/article-detail.asp?articleid=28

use the free logs if you want to actually log your progress and can get to computer on a semi-reegular basis.

good luck...
