Hola peeps,

I am ready for accountability again :-) My weight for this week is 159.6...I broke the six week plateau!!! YEAH!!!!!!!! And that means I met my goal for the month of February to get down to 159.9 :-) I am looking forward to March...my goal for March will be 155. Wish me luck :-)

Been vegging for the past two/three days... And haven't been eating, literaly! Last week I was above 200, and two days ago hit 194.?, 191.4, and finally 190.2. Just haven't been feeling well ever since the dissection. Tonight, however, found my appetite. Kind of pigged out so, I'm probably already up 6-7 lbs, but it was nice while it lasted. Still don't know when I'll be able to hit the gym again, but it's definately on the 'to do' list. Still have a ton of stuff to do in school, including reading, writing, research, and studying for this next round of tests. Getting a little stressed about how much I have to do. Hope it all works out.

Couldn't make it to the gym... Was really nausiated from the formaldyhide (dissected frogs and crayfish today). Will see how it goes tomorrow. But I did get an A on Bio test today... I think she purposefully dumbed down the test, based on the class average for the first exam. Tomorrow I have 3 assignments to do, 3 chapters to read, Key terms for two, and I have to find my sources for my psyche paper. Hopefully I can still think when I'm done!


Got the assignments done, not sure how I did though! Still have 3+2 more chapters to read, the key terms, the research, and another 2 more assignments due on Weds. (next wk)... Ahhhhhhhhhhh, STRESS!!!!! I should probably have my Cortisol levels check, and then have that portion of my brain labotimized!!!

Tentative schedule:

Fri: Read the 5 chapters (2 subjects), maybe keyterms
Sat: keyterms, 2 assignments
Sun: Research (includes outline for paper)
Mon: Outline 2 chapters (Bio)
Tue: Outline 3 chapters (Psy 297)
Wed: ???

Hello Teammies!

Been away for a while but I can explain First of all I had friends visitng for the last few days- I'm just gonna say that we drove 600km in 2 days (me driving!) and the food and drinks were definitely not diet/low fat. That's why I didn't post my weight this week but I know it's up - after 2 weeks of not training some of my clothes don't fit as well as they did and my belly os back to it's '6 months pregnant' shape.

Other than that my physio told me yesterday that I can't go back to training yet And after that announcement she told me that I'm too fat for a triathlete and that if I wanna be a triathlete I need to increase my level of fitness. Any guesses how I felt afterwards? Even though all she said was true there was no need to be like that. She's very skinny so I figured that she hasn't eaten in years which means she starving and therefore mean. I think she also wasn't entirely happy with the fact that I'm using a free University service considering my origins - like I was using the system.

Well I think I'm gonna try and do some light jogging on Monday or I'll go crazy - I miss my workout sooooo much!

The other reason why I wasn't posting was that I'm really upset with the fact that I can't train - it does make sense in my head.

Sorry to hear that Cead...She was a biotch.  However,  You can walk right?  Depending on condition walking can be great for burning calories.  My 5 mile run yesterday turned into a 2 mile slog and walk.  I am thinking it is my cold since I was coughing and my heartrate kept getting WAY to high way to fast.

Does she honestly think that attitude is going to HELP you?

I am so sorry, hun. Keep plugging away... Remember, even if you can't exercise right now, you *can* control your diet. Food is 80-90% of the battle, in my opinion. You can "erase" a 6-mile run pretty quickly by eating junk food.

well, I'm back on the bus to weight loss and doing pretty well here. Starting Day 3 of no soda in preparation for the no-sugar challenge. Day 2 was pretty rough, so hopefully today is a little bit easier.

My latest motto is: Progress, not perfection. (apparently a Flylady saying)
