I like them, but hard to store and get out of the package ...... and since I don't use any of that Bento box crap, it has got to fit in my pockets.  Gels in a gel flask are just so much easier!

Elitist.

(They do tend to get a bit sticky in a pocket on a warm day/long ride...I tend to rip open one side of the pocket and kinda push them out into my mouth.)

hate gels. Like shot blox. I tend to rely on drinks, but if I need something...these do the trick for me. I just can never get by the consistency of gels. Tastes like I am eating syrup. Agreed though..if blox dry out..they are tough on the teeth. Always a fan of lemon-lime.

I like all the gummy stuff...Clif Shot Bloks, Sharkies, Luna Moons, BUT...my absolute favorite are the Honey Stinger ones. Very yummy...remind me a lot of "Dots" candy.

I tried two different flavors while sitting in my living room under no stress at all. I nearly gagged and had to spit both types out. The texture was the biggest deterrent, but the flavor would have done me in even if the texture hadn't. There's no way I could've handled them during a workout. I know some people love them, but I stick to just plain gu.

The first time I saw those all I could think was: how long will it be before someone gets one of those stuck in their throat on the run?  I guess I'm just paranoid.

Just wait until you sneeze and fire a piece out of your nose. That's a sensation you'll remember for awhile.

x2 on the stingers.  They're great.  I've eaten lots of shot blocks but the stingers taste way better.

I cant stand gels and the blocks are not much better for me, the new powerbar chewy things in cola arent too bad.

On a long run I prefer plain old gummy bears

They are good, package is kind of big to carry though.

They have a new package out where they're all placed in a single row as opposed to the bigger bag. I've only seen them at Running Room so far.

I love the strawberry and cherry. Lemon lime and cola leave a weird taste in my mouth. I haven't been able to take down many gels as they seem to do a number on my GI...but I'm still experimenting with a few.

I like them...I haven't tried all of the flavors but so far the orange and the black cherry are my favorite...I am not much of a distance runner...nor do I really like to eat breakfast before I run...so they give me a little sugar boost to get me through my run without a lot of bulk.

I recently switched to the PowerBar Gel Blasts (cola flavor).  I like them more than the Clif shot blocks.

X2. The PowerBar Gel Blasts did not stick to my teeth and were so much easier to chew.

I love the margarita flavor and it makes me want to sing Jimmy Buffet songs to myself while on long rides.  Laughing

x3. I like the taste of the Honey Stingers and I think the texture is waaaaay better than Shot Bloks, which I find really frustrating to chew during a run.

That said, I don't seem to be able to eat enough of any of those things for a really long run (18+ miles), so I'm going to be giving gels another try this season. Uck. I hate gels.

I like them...try sharkies, they are cheaper and seem to work the same, although a bit  LESS easy to handle. I get them from Target.

Lick and stick to the top tube.  Don't leave them on there for the drive home, tho, or they'll get gritty
