If you haven't done a previous CTA race, should you get a logon and password in advance?

It can help make the process faster so you don't have to register later.

No, I mean I'm going to be in Cleveland Apr/May/Jun 2010... I'll be working with the vascular surgeons at Cleveland Clinic and will be insanely busy the whole time, so I think my training will be pretty limited, and getting away for a long weekend probably won't be an option...

My fellowship's actually at Walter Reed Army Medical Center here in DC (already finished my residency), but we do a couple rotations at outside places, and CC is one of them... So I'm just visiting up there.

FYI to anyone who hasn't registered yet but wants to.. my AG has 41 people in it so far and last year had 66 registered once registration filled up.  Judging by this, there are about 1/3 of the slots left (and it's been 2.5 hrs since registration opened).

So what you're saying is that if we extrapolate the aggregate data and perform a hyper exponental regression test involving recursion, then we will find that registration will close in a nonlinear fassion in congruence with the number of slots remaining?  Like f(x) = 1/x

exactly James.. so wait what it really means is that our chances of making a Kona slot are better since there will be more girls in the race.. I think this is a very good thing dont you agree Steve and James?

That is precisely what I meant ;-P

And NO I am not aging up this year!!  Obviously, if I was, I wouldn't be comparing apples to apples and would have no merit in making a comparison of this years age group registration status to last years in order to make a prediction of the amount of people registered already - you are talking about the math major/uber nerd here Tongue out

I'm aging up this year and happy about it. I'm tired of the M40-44 being the largest and most competitive group.
