I think I have a semi-rectangular course that is about 350yds long. Swim along the yellow pipe from one end to the other; swim out to the swim area bouys. Down the line of bouys and back to the yellow pipe. Water is not bad, has some warm and cool spots that take somegetting used to. Let me know when you are going out that way and I might try to join you. |

I have been swimming for a couple of weeks now in the pool so I am still noobish. |

Veteran 347 | Subject: RE: Little Elm Beach Our club (Frisco Triathlon Club) swims there every other Tuesday night and every other Saturday morning. We set up some buoys and also have a kayak in the water. Come out and join us sometime. Usually have 6-12 people in the water. The schedule is on our site (I always get confused with the switch of weeks). www.friscotriathlonclub.com |

Veteran 347 | Subject: RE: Little Elm Beach You are more than welcome to come out and just check things out. Lots of people come out 4 or 5 times before they join. No pressure, no worries just come out and see for yourself. It is a great group of people and we have a good time and get in a good workout. If you have any questions you can email me at [email protected], or let me know how you contacted the group and I will make sure Marcia (founder/president) gets back with you. If you havent done much ows, we do have a short course set up to practice siting and get comfortable with the water. Will have an experienced swimmer on the short course portion helping out as well as the kayak. Looking forward to seeing you out there. |

I usually swim at 24hr fitness in Frisco since they are cheap and open late night. The pool is fairly empty after 10 or 10:30. I also have a membership to the Frisco Athletic Center, but I usually cant get out until after they close it seems. BTW, hot pink cap is ok, just don't clash with your snorkle and arm floats. Not sure, the frisco natatorium might be a 50m, haven't heard of a 100m pool around. I know that some of the Plano pools are set up on the 50m for part of the day. Might be Oak Point in the early evenings. Will have to take a look and meet up sometime. |

Extreme Veteran 405 Frisco, TX | Subject: RE: Little Elm Beach the only 50m pool in Frisco is Cooper Aerobic Center off of 121 (between Alma and Custer) and they typically only have it setup as a 50m lanes on the weekends and monday.... The FAC is about 23 yards and the Natatorium could be setup for 50m but they never do! |

Veteran 347 | Subject: RE: Little Elm Beach Boogie7247 - 2009-08-18 3:29 PM how much do those places cost? You will want to double check this, but I think the pools in plano anywhere from $3-$6. The city pools in Frisco are $8 or $30/month (include the workout stuff too), and 24hr is $99/year if you work them or $300/ 2years through costco membership. Little Elm beach, free |

You go past the City Building and the main light, I think Lobo where the gas station is on the left), then you take a right at the baseball fields (before you get to Sonic). |
