If it's hot I take electrolyte tablets or plain ole' sodium tablets. I can get the other electrolytes from sports drinks but they really don't have a lot of sodium. I sweat like a bull so I need my sodium and also since I don't drink milk I make sure yogurt is a apart of my daily routine before a race as well as on race morning. Don't want to get calcium deficient either. They have worked wonders for me and wouldn't go on a long training or race day without them.

If you have ever seen the M&M minis plastic containers they make a great container to hold the endurlytes in, you can fit a mess in there and it has a pop top for easy opening and closing.


gives me a good excuse to by some M&M minis!  thanks! 

going to buy some endurolytes tomorrow...i'll check with my sports nutrition for endurance sports on the sodium requirements, but like the sound of the above formula.  if i find anything different, i'll post it here.
