Need Info re: River Cities Tri

Elite  2706    Hurst, Texas |  Subject: Need Info re: River Cities TriSo I hear this is a wonderful event. I plan on registering, but need some advice re: hotel/rental car, etc. I already have reservations at the host hotel (Holiday Inn Bossier City) but the folks there could not tell me how far away the tri is. Thus, I have no idea if I'll need a rental car or if the event is within walking distance, etc. Any of you fine Louisiana folks know the area well enough to give me some advice?? If the Holiday Inn is too far away to walk, is there another hotel that is close enough to the event to skip the whole rental car thing? Also, is there a good local bike shop to take my bike to after the flight for a quick "check-up" ??

I'll pick you up in my car at the airport and deliver you to your hotel. I'll pick you and your family up the next morning and we all can go to River Cities together. It is on the way from my house to your hotel. In fact, I'm happy to host a River Ciies carbo-load at my house for the out of towners. I live on Barksdale AFB and it would be a hoot to see if the 8th AF Commander would put out the flags for us. Worth a shot. Depending on your circumstances, plan to rent a car so you are flexible, and I can get your bike where it needs to be. Just get up tomorrow morning to register. |

I am so "crazy hooked" on this stuff that I am actually thinking of missing my 5:30 a.m. spinning class tomorrow morning so I can be at the computer at 6 a.m. I hear this one will fill up VERY fast, especially being their 25th anniversary. |
