Subject: RE: buying used bike for hubby... That's actually a pretty decent bike. At the level of Shimano 105 is really where you start to see good , solid performance from the components, and those wheels will be solid (probably one of the best combinations for hand-built wheels right there, Mavic Open Pro rims and Dura-Ace hubs ).
I don't think $400 is too much for that bike... those wheels would be about $150 used, the components would probably cost you $200, so basically, you getting the frame for $50...
It's a good deal, as long as it FITS! (sorry had to through that in there... ) |
