CBS just said that he was already released......must have been really serious.

I guess I bought into the media hype.

I read that as well. serious condition from backing his vehicle out of his driveway into a fire hydrant. HA media sensationalism at its best!

Actually, it's the hydrant that is in serious condition.

It'll likely either be inattentive driving or failure to maintain control of vehicle.

Starting to think that there may be more to this story, than just a simple accident.

SurprisedRachel Uchitel.  I hope this is not true.....  Tiger's got a hot Swedish wife, and two cute kids... why would he need to dilly dally?

Lots of subplots of golf clubs breaking back windows, arguments, flip over....

And I thought he drove BUICKS!!!!!Undecided

UPDATE: It was the Auburn TIGERS that crashed tonight. The "fireplug" was actually Alabama running back Trent Richardson. Laughing

IIRC, anytime a patient is transported to a hospital, their condition is listed as serious, regardless of how serious it actually is.

Heh...new reports indicate he and his wife were fighting, she caused his facial lacerations, and as he was leaving she chased him down the driveway and smashed out the back window of the Escalade with a golf club, causing him to be distracted and run over the fire hydrant.

None of this is confirmed yet, but it sounds more plausible than "just having an accident" at 2:25 a.m. and your wife smashing the back wondow and dragging you out of the Escalade on her own to try and rescue you.

If that's the case, glass should be found where it shouldn't be found. I'm sure the police will be investigating everything.

That said, I hope Tiger and his fam are well.

it'll be very interesting to see what happens with this story.  It must be nice that your able to tell the police to come back later because your resting from your injuries.  Must be nice to have that power.
His management PR company IMG will come up with some great story, they're very powerful and will come up with a great excuse.
I wouldn't be surprised that they say he was over tired from his travel, Asia, Australia the week before and was running for something for the kids.
We'll see...

Come up with some great story?  I see you're looking at this objectively with no pre-conceived notions.
