Never mind the fact that you have ran a massive amount of miles this year (well done by the way!!)- I'm impressed that you even know how many you have ran!!!

I really need to be more organised with my training - I just go out and do it LOL!

Hope you have renewed those running shoes Cool

Great job!

Did you start the year with that goal in mind, or did you just notice you were on track to do it?  Were you part of a challenge or on your own?

I saw a "Run 1000 miles in 2010" challenge advertised and considered joining it.

Congrats!  That was my goal this year (used to do a lot more when I just ran, but haven't hit it since starting tri's in 2007), but injury in July and last month are going to limit me to probably more like 920.  Just shows how hard it is to make it to 1K of running in tri training...you need both the commitment and the health to keep at it all year.  Good work!

I'm at 955 miles. I just started running again after having Morton's Neuroma surg on Nov 3rd.
Congrats on the 1000 mile marker, hopefully I'll be joining you.

Happy training.

Wow!  I'm not even at 200 miles... but I am almost 100 miles more than last year... maybe that will be my goal.  Another 10 miles or so will put me 100 over last year's number.  I should be able to make the jump from 200 to 400-500 for 2010, but 1000 is still a couple years off

I want to tell BT'ers I made it to 1000 miles too!
Trying to get to 1200 for 100 miles per month.

Winter arrived today with snow and 40mph wind.

I'm at 993.6 ... I'll be at 1000 by the end of the week, too! Also my first time, though it's been my goal for a couple years now. I finally am going to get it!

I'm at 897.9 biking... Got to get that up to 1000 too, then I'll have the double! Didn't do much swimming, so that's not even close (maybe next year!)

Congrats, though. That's an awesome accomplishment.

If you used your logs, it'd be super easy to keep up with mileage, time, lifetime of gear, locations, and how you felt....just sayin'
