Subject: Triathlon Christmas Ornaments

I usually pick up Christmas ornaments from different places I've vacationed through the year and add them to my tree.  It's a nice rememberance of the things I've done or accomplished that year and then to see them every year is nice also.  It brings back memories.

Since this was my first year doing a tri, I thought it would be great to get some type of a triathlon ornament.  I have googled and search on BT and cannot seem to find anything.   I can find running, swimming and biking seperately, but nothing combined.

I used my medal from my half marathon, since it had the date and everything on it, but of course neither tri I did this year gave a medal.

Has anyone ever found any tri related Christmas oranaments?

If the races you did gave out finishers medals....use those for ornaments.  No need to buy ornaments if you got it at the finish of any race.

After Lake Placid, a friend of mine had an ornament made for me (in Lake Placid). It's just a Christmas ball, but it has the M-dot on it, and then my name, the date of the race, my bib #, etc. It's pretty cool. It also says, "First Ironman," which cracks me up because you always see those ornaments that say "Baby's First Christmas," so this one is just like, "Lauren's first Ironman." I really like it...it's on display year round in my house .

I googled "swim bike run ornament" and found a slew...

Triathlon holiday lights: http://www.athlete3.com/product.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=&P_ID=706

Ornament: http://www.flowerpedal.com/triorn.html

Ornament: http://www.swimoutlet.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=17548&Click=310393

Those are cute, I have actually already found those, I guess I should have mentioned that I was wanting ones that could be personalized so I could put the name of the tri's on them and the dates.

Like these http://www.ornamentshop.com/order.asp?ProductKey=2913&cat=144  but with swim bike and run on them.

If you're looking for a personalized one, my friend got a regular ornament that says 2009 on it and had it engraved - Kristin Cacicedo You are an Ironman. Love it
