If I just wear my HRM 24-7 nobody will ever notice the strap mark

Tizzy - 2005-06-12 8:55 PMyou knucklehead! Hope you learnt a lesson! I have a great red color lipstick you can use to fill in the white lines.

OK...I guess I'm a perv, but my attention quickly swayed from the sunburn to the great definition in your glutes (is that the sanitized term for ass?)

Nice tushie Joel....thanks for the great view!!

Well, it's a little crispy today but not all that bad really.  They should include a bottle of sunblock (and a picture of my back) when you buy aerobars.  2 hours in the aerobars + no sunblock + HRM = stupid looking 2-tone "tan"

Ouch! So sorry. The "bra strap" mark is adding insult to injury.

Copertone continuous spray... really cool, alcohol based. Just do not use it on races b/c it will smear your race numbers....

Now, why didn't I think of that! It's hard to tell if you have your HRM strap in the correct position...Joel, painful, but good answer..

Ouch!  Try soaking some soft towels or gauze in strong ice tea.  Not instant, the tea bag stuff.  Place the soaked ice tea'ed towels on the sun burn.  It will make it feel lots better.

It actually doesn't hurt too bad today...sore yes, but not what I would consider painful.

Been there!

I usually burn, peel, then burn again. Not a good pattern. Not good for a very fair redhead.

Solarcane works to fade the burn, but other other suggestions sound like they're worth trying this year. Solarcane sprays on and you can do it yourself. Apply plenty of lotion (if you can get a helper) to help the reduce the ugly peeling and don't burn the fresh skin that's under the current burn. It's really sensitive.

Holy Cow! All kidding aside, you just increased your chances significantly of getting skin cancer sometime in the future with that sunburn. I have had 20+ skin cancers removed from my back, arms, and face over the past 10 years, all fortunately basel cell carcinomas. Most were from sun damage from years ago, according to my dermotologist. Right now, I have big hunk of my foreheard missing from the latest microsurgery. I use Coppertone Sport Sunscreen without much hassle.

EWWWW that just hurts me looking at it!

Putting on best *stern look* Never forget to put on suncream!! Every sunburn increases your chances of skin cancer. Next time be sunsmart! slap on some suncream and keep your shirt on.

Ok lecture over, sorry I come from the Skin cancer country!  and had sun smart campaigns everwhere since I was a kid.

The best thing for sunburn is Aloe vera, if you can get your hands on the live plant cut a piece off put it in the fridge for a little while and then smooth it on. Instant relief.  If you can't get a plant then aloe vera lotion is the next best thing!

Hope its not as painful now

All's good today...it has turned a nice tan and any discomfort is completely gone.  All I used was my Banana Boat aloe/vit E lotion.
